Entrepreneurship Development Centre

An Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) is a program set up within educational institutions such as universities and colleges to promote and support entrepreneurship among students and faculty. The EDC provides students and faculty with resources, education, and support services to help them develop the skills and knowledge needed to start and grow successful businesses

These can include business training, mentoring, access to funding, networking opportunities, and other resources that aid in the success of entrepreneurs. The EDC may also collaborate with local governments and other organizations to foster a business-friendly environment and economic development in the region. Conducting research, developing programs, and providing technical assistance and support to student and faculty entrepreneurs are examples of activities. The EDC promotes an entrepreneurial culture and mindset within the institution by allowing students to apply their knowledge to real-world projects and businesses.

 

It will comprise of an Advanced training programme for college students designed to give potential entrepreneurs a practical shape of an entrepreneurial personality. More emphasis will be focused on specific ideation, networking opportunities, and exposure to real-time entrepreneurial projects, in addition to gaining an understanding of their story and timeline.
