OVERVIEW
The concept of ERDC aims to find a solution to the alarming situation of unemployment by creating a path for Rural Entrepreneurship. Focusing entirely on mapping all the stakeholders of Rural Entrepreneurship be it schools, colleges, villages, research institutes, state and central government departments, we intend to form Centres for Entrepreneurship & Rural Development at the partnering institutes for proper execution after the successful conduct of Conclave.
This time we are organizing the Entrepreneurship and Rural Development Conclave at 10 different cities which include, Indore, Lucknow, Ropar, Guwahati, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, and Chennai divided into four days on different agendas.

Entrepreneurship & Rural Development Conclave 2019
Keeping pace with the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister on Startup India, Make in India, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, etc., National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR) Chandigarh joined hands in 2019 with Panjab University, Chandigarh; Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh; and Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar to work specifically on the Entrepreneurship & Rural Development and for the same organized Entrepreneurship and Rural Development Conclave.

Entrepreneurship & Rural Development Conclave was organized on 17-20 December 2019 to enhance support and boost Rural Development by establishing new projects. The aim is to spread awareness about various stakeholders' roles and responsibilities in establishing rural entrepreneurship projects.

Theme
The broad theme of the conclave is to create a platform to collaborate with different stakeholders of rural entrepreneurship to initiate various projects. It will help in describing the role of Colleges and Universities in association with Gram Panchayat in starting various Rural Entrepreneurship Projects.

This Conclave was designed for the Head of Schools & Gram Panchayats of Punjab & Chandigarh, M.P, Vice Chancellors/ Directors of Universities/ National Institutes & Selected Teams of colleges of North India along with other representatives, policymakers, academic professionals, researchers, curriculum developers, entrepreneurs, industry representatives, government officials and officials from entrepreneurial support agencies
